If you fold down the rear seats then that cargo volume increases to 73.4 cubic feet. Overall the interior cabin area of the Edge is 153.1 cubic feet. SpletIt can fold down the seats very flat but Im not a car person and don't know if it's a reliable car. I also don't know if it's significantly smaller than minivan anyway. It does have a better gas mileage than most minivans of that era though which is nice but the difference is negligible since I won't drive more than 5000 miles a year.
