WebbIf you love the idea of growing flowering, evergreen, or deciduous bushes, but have limited space in your yard, consider planting small dwarf and low growing shrubs. These miniature-sized shrubs are perfect for planting in a container or as a border along a garden or small yard, and there is a wide variety to choose from, no matter what your taste. WebbPrune the plant back just after it blooms for a second flush of flowers. Heavier pruning should occur in late winter to early spring when this shrub can be cut all the way back to the ground every few years to keep the plant’s lovely form intact. It’s one of my favorite summer blooming low maintenance shrubs.
