WebMay 12, 2024 · Tak FSQ-85+flattener: Slightly short, but „the best“ small scope. Excellent to APS-C. Without the flattener, excellent to M4/3, and then with the advantages of a Petzval. I upgraded the focuser. Askar 107PHQ: Trades some speed for a very well-corrected field. Petzval. Don‘t own one, but seems a sweet scope.

If you're interested in terrestrial photography, this is a great way to get a 950mm F/7.5 (or 775mm F/6.3 with the TV flattener) telephoto equivelant manual focus lens.
